Rates

We work with two categories of clients at Business Mentors: Private Clients and Corporate Clients.

Private Clients are those individuals who come to us directly for career management services with the intention of paying fees directly for those services that best suit their individual career management needs.

Corporate Clients’ fees are paid directly by the corporation for whom they work in support of the program that best matches their employee or business unit needs.

What types of options are available to the private clients?

Private clients can request In person, Teleconference, SKYPE, FaceTime, or Premier (unlimited access to sessions with an Executive Coach); however, we find that more and more clients are opting for the teleconference or video delivery method (SKYPE, FaceTime, Viber, etc.) for convenience. Rates vary between the these delivery options. Please consult the table below for details on pricing.

What do these services cost?

Hourly teleconference rates begin at $270.00/per session for those individuals who want to pay as they go. Hourly rates for in-person meetings or video delivery with an Executive Coach are slightly higher at $280/per session, but we encourage our clients to select the method that is most comfortable for them. Package sessions are offered in groups of 8, 12 or 16, and each of these packages provides a discount over the hourly rate since the client is buying services in volume, in advance. The entire package fee, however, must be paid up front or by the end of the first session with an Executive Coach to qualify for the discount. The greater the number of sessions in a package, the higher the level of discount.

*This package is valid for one year from the date of purchase. All sessions must be used within that one year time frame or unused packages will expire. **This package does not expire and you may use your sessions over an indeterminate amount of time

What if I want flexibility in a package so that I could schedule either a teleconference, SKYPE/FaceTime videoconference, or an in-person session?

That option is available. We have created the In-Person Option Package, at the same rates as the in-person package, for those individuals who want the option of in-person meetings, SKYPE/FaceTime videoconferences, or teleconferences as their package plan offering. They can exercise this flexibility while enjoying a discounted rate plan.

What do I need to do to get started?

Private clients are asked to complete a Client Profile form (available for download below) where contact data and credit card information is requested. No appointment can be scheduled without a credit card on file to guarantee the appointment time. There are no charges made to the card until after the first session, unless the private client fails to cancel the scheduled appointment at least 24 hours in advance of a scheduled appointment time.

How do I pay for these services?

Private clients are welcome to pay for individual hourly sessions or a package of sessions via credit card (VISA, MasterCard, American Express or Discover).

 PAYMENT IS DUE AT TIME OF SERVICE. Failure to make payment at time of service, failure to provide a valid credit card number, providing a check that is returned for insufficient funds, or providing a credit card number that is declined will result in a $25 late fee PER DAY where payment is not received in full.

Can I get a refund if I don't use an entire package?

Refunds requested on unused portions of career coaching packages will be provided in the following manner: All sessions conducted to date will be priced at the standard hourly rate at the time of refund request. The balance refunded will be the full package amount price paid less the current hourly amount multiplied by the number of sessions used. Unused sessions that are more than one year old are not eligible for refund.

Can I transfer my unused sessions in a package to someone else?

Purchased packages are not transferable to other individuals or companies. This would include an entire package or any remaining sessions left in a package which has been initiated. Packages, however, may be purchased for other individuals as gifts. The person using the package must be specified at the time of purchase.

If I buy a package of 8, 12 or 16 sessions, do I have to use the sessions within a certain time frame?

Packages of 8 or 12 sessions carry an expiration date of one year from the date of purchase. If you desire a package for long term use with NO expiration date, then we would suggest the 16 session package. This package, both in the teleconference or video option, offers you the advantage of working with Business Mentors, Inc. on multiple matters over a longer period of time, and the package does not expire! You can feel free to work through your sessions at your speed. Keep in mind that those who have purchased a package of sessions of ANY length prior to June 1, 2014 are not subject to an expiration date on packages of 8, 12 or 16 session.

What is the cancellation policy?

Clients who have booked appointments must cancel these appointments at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time. If a cancellation is received less than 24 hours prior to the appointment time, the full hourly charge will apply. If the client is paying on an hourly basis, a charge for that session will be applied to his/her credit card. If the client has purchased a package plan, one session will be deducted from the client’s package for failure to cancel 24 hours in advance. For Monday appointments, we request that clients cancel scheduled appointments by 5P on the preceding Friday.

Corporate Clients

While we offer services to private individuals and corporations, our Corporate Services are available to employees of corporations with whom we work and the corporations pay for the services provided.  These services include Directional and Developmental Counseling, Leadership Development and Executive Outplacement.  We partner with a company’s Executive Team to work with directional needs of the employee who is off track, the talented employee who demonstrates great aptitude and talent for advancement or the support needs for the employee who has been relieved of his or her duties in an organization restructuring or position elimination.

What sample prices can you offer?

Sample pricing for services includes: Pre-employment screening interviews @ $375.00; Corporate career transition (outplacement) package of 12 @ $4200 or 20 sessions @ $7000.00; Executive coaching individual hourly sessions @ $350.00 per hour; Annual corporate packages, which are open-ended, allowing the organization to utilize the services on an employee by employee basis, available @ $30,000.00 annually.

How do we pay for these services?

We are happy to extend the courtesy of invoicing for services to our corporate clients. Once specific services have been selected, Business Mentors, Inc. initiates an invoice to the corporate contact for payment. Payment is due within 30 days. As well, we accept all major credit cards for payment of corporate services, if this proves to be a more efficient method for our corporate clients.

Can we transfer unused package sessions from one corporate client to another?

Yes, we are happy to accommodate the corporate client by allowing the transfer of unused session packages originally designated for one individual to another individual as long as the sessions are being used by an employee in the same organization.
