BUSINESS MENTORS' GUIDELINES

Business Mentors is happy to assist you with your career planning and career development needs.
This document will help you understand the nature of our business and how we can assist you in
our working relationship as you move into another challenging period in your career. If you have
any questions, please discuss it with your career counselor.

The Role of Business Mentors, Inc.

Business Mentors, Inc. is not a recruiting firm. We do not place people in positions with
companies, and we receive no fees or income from any company by participating in the offer of
employment to any applicant. Our sole income is from the individuals that we assist in career
education and executive coaching or from those companies that contract with us to assist their
employees in career development.

We offer no guarantee of employment, but pledge to you the use of our extensive experience in
career planning and personalized guidance for your career. You will meet one-on-one with a
career guidance specialist during your time with Business Mentors, and any recommendations
that you receive will be based on our vast experience in career planning. How you use our
experience is up to you! We provide recommendations and solid advice, but not guarantees of
success. The more work, however, that you put into the process, the faster those opportunities
will come.

Business Mentors, Inc. provides career guidance and training, not counseling of a personal
nature. We will, however, be happy to assist you in locating qualified, licensed psychologists if
together we discover that personal issues are interfering with your ability to find satisfying
employment opportunities.

Payment Policy

Payment for services is due at the time of the session. We are pleased to accept VISA, MasterCard,
American Express, Discover or personal checks for individual sessions. We also accept credit cards and
checks for payments on package plans. Late charges of 10% are accessed after 30 days. Invoicing for
services is only available to corporate accounts.

Appointment Cancellations

Appointment times are established for your convenience. If you are unable to make your scheduled
appointment, please provide notification at least 24 hours in advance or you will be charged for the meeting.
Clients needing to cancel Monday appointments should do so by 5 PM on the preceding Friday to avoid a
charge. Many clients ask to be placed on a waiting list, and that missed appointment time could be utilized
by another individual.

Appointment Length

Appointment times are scheduled for fifty minutes. Please attempt to be on time for our meeting
so that you can take full advantage of the time set aside for you. We are unable to extend
appointment times due to late arrivals.

Telephone Inquiries

Telephone inquiries during your career search are always welcomed. However, calls in excess
of 3 or 4 minutes are considered career coaching by telephone and are invoiced at our hourly
rate. Requests to conduct long distance conference calls are accommodated: however, an
incremental long distance charge will be added to the client invoice.

We attempt to respond to your telephone requests for information and feedback; however, it is
always preferable to schedule an appointment in person or a block of time for a conference call
so that you will have our undivided attention.

Document Review

Resumes, correspondence, documents which are faxed or mailed for review and feedback are a
part of the career coaching program. The same time parameters apply here as in telephone
conferences and are invoiced at your hourly rate.

Voicemails

Voice mails are checked on several occasions during the day between client appointments.
Urgent telephone calls are returned during breaks between client appointments. Voice mails
which are received after the end of the day or on the weekend are returned the following business
day.

Tax Deductible Status

Business Mentors’ services are for the purpose of professional development of our clientele. The cost for
these services may be tax deductible depending on your individual situation. Please consult your tax
professional for advice.

Business Mentors' refund policy concerns those clients paying for a package of sessions. Refunds
requested on unused portions of these career coaching packages will be provided in the following manner:

All sessions conducted to date will be priced at the standard hourly rate at the time of refund request.
The balance refunded will be the full package amount price paid less the current hourly amount multiplied
by the number of sessions used.
