Al Stewart is President and founder of Business Mentors, Inc., a career
management consulting company, headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Florida
with branch offices in Atlanta, Georgia and Paris, France. His organization
provides career management support to both corporations and individuals
across multiple industries. As job security became questionable in corporate
America, he realized that individuals needed to be more proactive and learn
how to take control of their own careers. Since busy professionals had
neither the time nor expertise to conduct a thorough review of their skill sets
and competencies, Al assembled a team of professionals dedicated to helping
clients achieve the maximum of success in their current organizations or to
develop strategies for marketing themselves effectively when considering a
career transition.

Business Mentors' clients are taking advantage of executive coaching
opportunities, learning methodologies for productive career search
campaigns or exploring entrepreneurial opportunities in the US and abroad.

One specialized part of his company's offerings focuses on Americans who
want to examine career opportunities in Europe and Asia, and American
expatriates and foreign nationals who want to return to the U.S. or seek
employment in the U.S. He assists them in packaging themselves for the
domain they are targeting, understanding search methodologies used on a
country-by-country basis and recognizing cultural innuendos that can
contribute to success or failure. As an individual who works in and owns
property in France, he understands the challenges inherent with international
relocation and culturization.

Al has an extensive background with Fortune 500 companies in the
telecommunications, transportation and career transition industries. He has
held management positions in sales and marketing, public relations, human
resources, and training/organizational development with industry leaders
such as AT&T, Sprint Communications, Eastern Airlines, and Drake Beam
Morin, the world's leading career transition organization.

Al is fluent in French and Spanish and conversant in Italian. He is actively
involved in working with corporations to improve the performance of their
staffs and with individuals to more effectively manage their futures within
those corporations. He works with management teams to help them
understand the inherent value to the corporation when employees step up
and own responsibility for their own careers. He has spoken at numerous
corporate and association events on career management topics, and he
serves as a mentor for Mentium 100, an executive leadership program for
women in business. He has been published on several occasions in the New
York Times, Atlanta Journal/Constitution, and Employment Weekly
regarding topics ranging from the condition of the job market in corporate
America to the needs of America's "concerned employed". He has been
interviewed for specific segments by the Associated Press, Canadian
Broadcasting (CBC), and the Fox Network on specific workplace issues
that employees are facing in this era of change.

He received a BA in Modern Foreign Languages from Emory University in
Atlanta and an M.Ed. in Adult Education & Counseling from Georgia State
University, Atlanta.
